As a conservative approach in dentistry, porcelain laminates are markedly conservative procedures that require little or no preparation on the tooth. Positive results are obtained due to the good light and color permeability of porcelain laminates bonded with superior adhesives. In this way, it is commonly used a restorative option. Made by highly sensitive techniques, very thin laminates provide very good harmony with the tooth and surrounding tissues. Laminates are prepared with a minimal invasive technique assisted by 3D software and printers. In some cases, without need for any intervention, only the impressions are taken and the porcelain is prepared in the dental laboratory. The thickness of the finished laminate veneer is approximately 0.5 mm. Since the preparation is only made on the front surfaces of the teeth and due to veneers’ excellent light conductivity, the prosthesis gives perfect aesthetics.
